St. Germain Mint Raspberry Bellini
This isn’t particularly vintage inspiring but I’m sharing nonetheless. I love St. Germain — it’s an artisanal French liqueur made from hand-picked elderflower blossoms. It’s not particularly sweet and it has a unique taste that might not be for everyone, but this bellini recipe I just whipped up is uh–mazing:
Ingredients:
1 whole peach or nectarine
3-5 raspberries (leave these out for a reg. peach bellini)
2-3 mint leaves / add a thyme sprig for garnish (optional)
2 oz St. Germain liqueur
1 oz Triple Sec (optional)
1 oz Spritzer or Water
1 oz Rose’s Lime Juice
(has to be Rose’s….all the others just don’t hit the nail on the head like Rose’s does)
Directions:
In a mixer or blender:
Combine in a martini shaker: 2-3 heaping tablespoons of blended fruit and mint mix, water or spritzer, St. Germain, Rose’s lime juice & triple sec (optional) and SHAKE for 30 seconds.
Here is the best drink you will have this summer! It could also be a great candidate for your signature cocktail at the wedding maybe?
